Trafalga Jackpot...

Today I took the kids to Trafalga to play. When we first walked in Jace saw they had a lava lamp for a prize and said that he wanted to get enough tickets for it. Well, it was 3000 tickets which is a lot. After hitting this 1000 ticket jackpot, I figured we might as well try to get 3000, and we did. Jace was so excited!

He was so excited for his cake toppers, he loved licking the frosting off of each of them.

 

Then he decided to really get down to business...shirt off and all. I can't believe that Jace is 5. Tonight he told me that he was a little bit sad that it was his birthday...because he always wanted to be my little baby. I guess now that he is 5 he is all grown up! :)

Hardware Ranch Elk Refuge...

Today we headed to the Hardware Ranch Elk Refuge in Logan. It was a long drive, and a long wait(we waited in line an hour), but the kids loved the horse-drawn sleigh ride and the elk.

We attempted to get a family picture, but the kids were not having it, especially Jace...

...who just wanted to act silly.

 

So silly that he fell off of the bench. It was nice to get away from the city life for a while!

Valentine's Day...

Jace's Valentine's celebrations started yesterday at preschool. When he came home he was so happy! He said that he wished I could have went with him to preschool today because it was so much fun!

Today we started out with some heart shaped pancakes.

Everyone loved them...

...even Gracie.

Then for lunch we made heart shaped pizza's!

Gracie had more fun playing with her shoes...she is a little too young to help make pizza, but she sure enjoyed eating some.

 

 

We also cut out hearts to decorate the house, Jace loved that the most!
