On the twenty-ninth day of Halloween we went to the library Halloween party...and on another train ride.
So our library had a fun Halloween party for the kids. They had witches and a cauldron, Halloween stories and songs, and a puppet show.
Then we headed to Lindon to the Stringtown Express for another ride on the train. Not a good idea to do on a warm Monday night. We ended up waiting 2 hours...at least it was warm.
I forgot Gracie's coat and it did get a little chilly, so she got to wear Jace's coat.
We went with our friends the Johnson's. Here are the boys in the Halloween lab.
Playing a little Halloween ski ball.
Cole had a little melt down...he just wanted on a train...and didn't understand why it was taking so long.
Almost up!
Finally, our train conductor arrives.
Happy at last! On the train!
It was dark, and spooky, not like when you go early, so Jace sat on my lap.
Yes, Jace closed his eyes through most of it.
Our train came off track which took a few minutes to fix, so these spooky kids loved lurking around us.
They were trying to scare Justin, but he couldn't help but laugh.
The ogre has the princess...we must save her.
Another fun evening, but I bet my husband will beg to differ.
